Three plants, one cup. Moringa for nutrition, mint for clarity, sage for depth. It's a combination that sounds simple, and it is, but the three work together in a way that's more interesting than any one of them alone.
The moringa is grown here on our farm in Alabama, same as always. Hand-harvested, slow-dried, full-spectrum leaf. The peppermint is cooling and clarifying, brightening the slightly grassy character of the moringa. The sage adds a warm, resinous undertone that grounds the whole thing and makes it feel more substantial than a typical mint tea.
It's a good afternoon cup. Not sedating, not stimulating, just clear and settled. The kind of tea you make when you want something that tastes like it came from somewhere real.
What's in it: Dried moringa leaf, peppermint leaf, garden sage.
How to brew: Steep 1 tablespoon in 8 oz of hot water for 6 to 8 minutes. Good hot. Also works cold-steeped overnight in the fridge for a cleaner, less bitter cup.
Why ours: The moringa is Alabama-grown and farm-direct. Harvested and dried on our property in Opp. We know the plant, the soil, and the season it came from.
