This is a tea. It is not a miracle and it is not a cleanse, and anybody who tells you a cup of leaves will do the work for you is selling something.
What it is: herbs with long traditional use, most of them bitter or aromatic, in a cup that tastes good enough to drink every day. Caffeine free.
What is in Slim Tea?
-
Tulsi (Holy Basil). A cornerstone adaptogen in Ayurvedic tradition.
-
Rooibos. Naturally sweet, caffeine free, and the base that holds it together.
-
Gymnema Sylvestre. A traditional Ayurvedic herb with a long history of use.
-
Cinnamon. Warming, and one of the oldest spices in the trade.
-
Turmeric. A staple of Ayurvedic cooking and daily practice.
-
Haritaki. A traditional Ayurvedic fruit, taken after food.
-
Hibiscus. Bright and tart, and it gives the cup its deep red color.
How do I brew Slim Tea?
Steep 1 tablespoon in 8 oz of hot water for 7 to 10 minutes. The hibiscus brings a natural tartness and turns the cup a deep red. It is good hot and it is very good iced. Caffeine free, so it works at any hour you want it.
What does it taste like?
Tart on top from the hibiscus, warm and sweet underneath from the rooibos and cinnamon. The gymnema and haritaki carry a bitterness that sits at the back of the cup. It does not need honey, though it takes it fine if that is how you drink tea.
