How to Use

Mullein is traditionally used for lung and throat health. It is one of the most widely used herbs for the chest and throat in both Western and folk herbal traditions. We make no medical claims about specific health outcomes.

Is this a tincture or a tea?

This is a liquid tincture, a concentrated alcohol extract taken in drops, not steeped like a tea. It absorbs faster than capsules or tea and is easy to add to any liquid.

How long does a bottle last?

At 1 dropperful twice daily, the 1 oz bottle lasts about 2 to 3 weeks. The 2 oz lasts roughly 5 to 6 weeks.

Is your mullein grown or wildcrafted?

Wildcrafted. We brought wild mullein onto this land years ago and it seeded itself. Now we collect the seed heads and scatter them where we would like stands to come up, but mullein decides for itself. Most of what we cut comes up somewhere we did not plan. No beds, no rows, no watering, nothing added. We cut the leaf by hand and process all of it here, not from an overseas supplier.
