Herbal Smoking Blend
Our Herbal Smoking Blend is a tobacco-free, nicotine-free loose-leaf mix built on mullein we wildcraft in south Alabama, with damiana, raspberry leaf, passionflower, skullcap, peppermint and deer tongue. We hand-blend it in small batches on our farm in Opp, and it comes in a 1 oz bag.
Most herbal smoking blends are vague about what's in them and where it comes from. We'll tell you exactly what's in it, why each herb is there, and where it came from.
What's In It
- Mullein leaf. The base of the blend. Smooth, easy draw, soft on the throat.
- Raspberry leaf. Adds structure and a steady ember. Slows the burn just enough to round the blend out.
- Damiana leaf. The center note. Warm, slightly herbal, gives the blend its character.
- Passionflower leaf. Softens the blend.
- Skullcap leaf. Rounds out the herbal profile.
- Peppermint leaf. A small lift of cooling brightness.
- Deer tongue leaf. A whisper of sweet vanilla and hay aroma that ties the whole blend together.
How to Use
Roll it, pack it in a pipe, or use a dry herb vaporizer. Burns smoothly and evenly. The aroma is earthy with a soft vanilla note from the deer tongue. Start with a small amount to find your preference. For adult use only.
About This Blend
Hand-blended in small batches on our farm in Opp, Alabama. The mullein we wildcraft here in south Alabama and cut by hand ourselves. The deer tongue we gather wild as well, from stands off the farm here in south Alabama where it comes up on its own. Damiana will not grow in our climate, so we buy that from a supplier we have used for years. The rest comes from a mix of our own land and herbs we buy in. We have been growing and wildcrafting medicinal and aromatic plants here since 2011. This is a 1 oz package, enough for several sessions depending on use. Contains no tobacco, nicotine, additives, or preservatives.
Mullein is the base of this blend, the same leaf we wildcraft for our teas and tinctures. Read more about mullein and how it gets used.
The same mullein goes into our Dried Mullein Leaf and Mullein Extract.
Prefer it rolled? We carry this blend as Herbal Prerolls, packed five to a resealable bag.

I had a wonderful experience ordering from Mayim Farms. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and everything arrived fresh, carefully packaged, and exactly as described. I ordered the Chaga mushroom, Tension Blend tincture, Herbal Smoking Blend, After Supper Tea, and Chest Tea, and I was genuinely impressed with the quality of every item. You can tell there is a lot of care put into both the products and the way they are prepared and packaged. The only little surprise was the purple Herbal Smoking Blend. My husband had been looking forward to trying it in his pipe, but it was a bit drier than he expected for pipe smoking. I told him that apparently he just needs to get himself some rolling papers and adapt—ha! Everything else has been exactly what we hoped for, and we’re very pleased with our order. Quality products, thoughtful packaging, and great communication make Mayim Farms a place we will happily order from again.
