Some mornings want something warm and bright at the same time. This is that cup. Earthy moringa leaf we grow ourselves here in Opp, fragrant orange peel, and ginger root for a little bite.
It is one of our most popular teas and it is easy to see why. The orange and the ginger lift the earthiness of the moringa into something you look forward to instead of something you get through.
What is in Moringa Orange Tea?
-
Moringa leaf, grown on our farm in Opp, Alabama and dried at low temperature.
-
Orange peel, for a bright citrus note that balances the leaf.
-
Ginger root, warming, and the familiar bite that rounds the cup out.
Three ingredients. No artificial flavors, no fillers, no tea bags full of dust.
How do I brew Moringa Orange Tea?
Steep one teaspoon of Moringa Orange Tea in 8 oz of hot water for 5 to 7 minutes. Honey if you want it sweet. It is good hot and it is better iced, poured over ice with a slice of fresh orange, which is how it gets drunk here most of the summer.
What does it taste like?
Earthy underneath, citrus on top, with a warm ginger finish. The moringa is grassy the way a green tea is grassy, and the orange peel keeps that from being the whole story. It is caffeine free, so it works late in the day.
Where does the moringa come from?
We grow it. Every bit of the moringa in this tea came off our own trees in Opp, Alabama, and we have been growing moringa in these rows since 2015. We blend and pack this tea by hand on the farm.
