What is in Turmeric and Black Pepper Capsules?

Turmeric root powder (Curcuma longa) and black pepper (Piper nigrum) in a vegetarian capsule. No fillers, no binders, no additives. That is the entire ingredient list and it is the entire point.

How do I take them?

Take 1 to 2 capsules a day with food, and choose the meal with some fat in it if you can. Turmeric has been eaten in fat and in pepper for as long as anybody has been cooking it, and the traditional kitchens got there long before anybody wrote it down. Steady daily use is the traditional pattern.

Why is black pepper in with the turmeric?

Because that is how turmeric has always been eaten. Look at any traditional recipe using turmeric and you will find pepper somewhere in it, usually fat too. We kept the pairing because the tradition kept it, and a few thousand years of kitchens is a reasonable thing to defer to.

Where are they made?

Hand-filled at our farm in Opp, Alabama, in small batches, the way we do everything else. No contract manufacturer and no outsourced anything.
