Most moringa comes from India or Africa, dried, bagged, and shipped thousands of miles before it reaches you. Ours was growing in Alabama soil last season. We harvest it here, dry it here, and ship it direct from our farm in Opp, Alabama. That's a supply chain you can actually trace.
Moringa whole leaves are one of the most nutrient-dense plants on earth, rich in protein, iron, calcium, vitamins A and C, and antioxidants. The whole leaf form is more shelf-stable than powder and retains its nutrition beautifully when dried at low temperatures, which is exactly how we process ours.
How to Use Dried Moringa Leaves
As a tea: Steep 1-2 teaspoons of dried leaves in 8 oz of hot water for 5-10 minutes. The flavor is mild and grassy, earthy but not bitter. Add honey or lemon if you like.
In cooking: Crumble dried leaves into soups, stews, rice, or eggs after cooking. Heat destroys some nutrients, so adding after cooking keeps more of the goodness intact.
As a powder: Grind or crush the dried leaves to make your own fresh moringa powder for smoothies or capsules.
Start with a small amount, a teaspoon or so, and work up from there.
Why Whole Leaf Instead of Powder?
Powder is convenient, but whole leaf is more stable over time and easier to verify quality. You can see exactly what you're getting. No fillers, no additives, nothing blended in. Just the leaf, dried and packaged on the farm.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is your moringa grown in the United States?
Yes. Our moringa is grown, dried, and packaged on our farm in Alabama. It is not imported or sourced from overseas suppliers.
How is whole leaf different from moringa powder?
Whole leaf is more shelf-stable and easier to inspect for quality, you can see the actual leaf. Powder is more convenient for smoothies and capsules. Both come from the same plant; it's mainly a matter of how you plan to use it.
What does moringa tea taste like?
Mild and grassy, similar to a light green tea. Not bitter. Most people find it pleasant on its own, or with a little honey.
How should I store dried moringa leaves?
Keep in a sealed container away from heat and light. Properly stored, dried moringa leaves stay fresh for 12-18 months.
What is the difference between imported and U.S.-grown moringa?
Imported moringa travels long distances through multiple handling stages before it reaches you. Ours goes from our farm to your door, shorter supply chain, better traceability, fresher product.
Is moringa safe to take daily?
Moringa is a food. Whole cultures have eaten it daily for generations. Start with a small amount and listen to your body. As with any supplement, consult your healthcare provider if you take prescription medications, as moringa may interact with some drugs.
