How do I take turmeric capsules?

Take 1 to 2 turmeric capsules a day with food. Pick the meal that has some fat in it. Turmeric has been cooked in fat and paired with black pepper for as long as it has been eaten, which is why we also make a Turmeric and Black Pepper version for people who want the pairing in one capsule.

What is in it?

Turmeric root powder (Curcuma longa) in a vegetarian capsule. Nothing else in there. 60 capsules per pouch.

Plain turmeric or turmeric with black pepper?

If you already cook with pepper and eat turmeric with food, the plain capsule is fine and it keeps the ingredient list to one line. If you want the traditional pairing handled for you in the capsule, take the black pepper version. Same turmeric in both.

Where are they made?

Filled by hand at our farm in Opp, Alabama. We have been growing and processing medicinal plants here since 2011. No contract manufacturers and no mystery supply chain.
