Bitter melon (Momordica charantia) has been used in traditional practice across Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean for generations. It is still one of the most widely used plants in daily routines across all three.
This is the loose powder. Easy to stir into a smoothie or a juice, or to fill into capsules of your own.
How do I use bitter melon powder?
Start with half a teaspoon a day, stirred into a smoothie, a juice, or water. The flavor is bitter and it does not hide, which is part of the plant's character and always has been. Blending it with fruit helps a good deal. Work up to a full teaspoon as you get used to it. Daily use is the traditional approach.
What is in it?
Pure bitter melon powder (Momordica charantia). Nothing else added to it.
Where does this bitter melon come from?
We grow it. Bitter melon is a vegetable, and ours comes off vines here in Opp, Alabama, grown with no synthetic chemicals, no pesticides, and no herbicides. When our own vines do not cover what we need, we buy from growers we trust rather than reach for an overseas supplier. Either way we slice the fruit, dry it, and grind it to powder here on the farm.
