This one has caffeine in it. The name reads calm, and three of the seven plants in the bag are caffeine leaves, so we would rather say that at the top than bury it in a list.
Some mornings coffee is not the right tool. This is a caffeinated tea built on green tea and yerba mate rather than on coffee, with herbs traditionally taken alongside them. You brew it and you drink it. It is a cup of tea, not a pill.
If you bought this from us before, you knew it as Energize Tea. Same blend, same bag, new name.
What is in Ashwagandha Green Tea?

-
Gotu Kola Leaf. Used for centuries in Ayurvedic tradition.
-
Spearmint Leaf. Brightens the cup.
-
Licorice Root. Natural sweetness, no sugar needed.
Does Ashwagandha Green Tea have caffeine?
Yes. Ashwagandha Green Tea carries real caffeine from three different leaves, green tea, yerba mate, and guayusa. Ashwagandha and gotu kola are calming herbs, but they do not cancel the caffeine out. This is a morning or early afternoon cup, not an evening one. If you are sensitive to caffeine or avoiding it, this is not the tea for you.
When do I drink Ashwagandha Green Tea?
Steep 1 tablespoon in 8 oz of hot water for 5 to 7 minutes. It is good hot and good over ice, and it takes honey well if you want it sweeter.
What does it taste like?
Green and grassy from the mate and the green tea, with the spearmint cutting across the top of it. Less bitter than a strong coffee and less sharp than a plain yerba mate. The licorice gives it a soft sweet edge at the finish.
Where does Ashwagandha Green Tea come from?
This is not one we formulate ourselves. We source the blend and pack it by hand here in Opp, Alabama. No artificial flavors and no synthetic stimulants. The caffeine here comes from leaves.
